It is in this month that I realized how much easier the universe truly aligns with what you ponder on and commit. It is not that hard to be caught in epiphanies ever so humbling. It is such a moment.
August 2021, for me came with clear goals to execute, and I did it. The comfort in all this commitments is that I was doing me. I have never been so close to what I believe I am capable of accomplishing. The leaps I took will forever remind me of my determination and willingness to achieve. This played out too imperfectly perfect.
The human choice of doing something with one's life, with what you have, is what this month opened up for me. As a woman, I especially enjoyed how less of anybody else I tried to be. I kept within me the hope that my fragility is not a means to break down, but a challenge to breakthrough. Therefore, I broke through. I am Grateful for it!
One of the biggest life changing moments confirmed and it was unbelievable. Not only did I never felt as if I could handle such a change, I felt it would be such a nonsensical direction to follow through. As you know, God has a way of redirecting one's life to the best of their needs, rather than what they are aiming at. I feel blessed to have been taken to new territories. I am glad for this confirmed how my investing in Self-Care ultimately is settling me up to an evolved me, in my spiritual growth, my womanhood and all. I truly hope the part of just doing me will forever play in my unique traits to keep in transitioning. I am growing!
What is best for me is not always best for everyone. However, what is for me is for my best. What as a woman makes me relate to another woman, is of great use to comprehend what life is like for most of us. However, it is never supposed to take away from you, your individuality and authenticity. Doing you is not only a way of balance to nature; it is a right you are supposed to carry out. I know it can be somewhat confusing and at times lonely, but it is also very healthy to take refuge in knowing that you Respect yourself enough to be you and only you. Self-respect is as good as Self-awareness!
They say women hate each other, pretend a lot and therefore do not wish well one to another. I say, for such a generalized perspective, I am going to live doing what sets me apart. I am doing me so that it makes perfect sense for others be themselves. The time to hate, pretend and curse for bad luck to hit on others is a waste. There is so much more to gain from doing the opposite of what the general perspective suggests. I know this from first-hand experience. There is just an undeniable power to self when you advocate to empowering and celebrating other women. It is such a jet setter, a bolder way of fulfilling all the wonderful things women are able to do that nobody else can do. When women support and value one another, everything around them grows. Their anointing thrives and touches lives. It becomes a force to reckon with. Women in respect for one another is a game changer. I hope we can all make room for one another to be as different as we are and still be full of light as one. There is room to grow when we love and embrace our womanhood!
Women's month for me, got me encouraging others to be themselves, to be Self-Aware! There is not anything new here really, but it is truly about not growing tired of practicing what I preach so that when I give out my message, it resonate well. You who is carrying out way too many responsibilities and feeling like those around you are slacking. You standing by the mirror and feeling like there is something wrong. It is you as a mother having that instinct that your child is not well, but you are being convinced that you just worry too much. It is the misunderstood and suppressed I am directing this. The controlled, shrinking, voiceless, neglected and rejected, you are understood by me. I get your frustration and even the part where you have given up. I am here to tell you and assure you that you do not belong in that space and there is room out of it for you. Find your voice, be honest with yourself, come out with it that you need a way out, take that leap of faith and just do something different about that neglect and rejection. How about you Channel it to self-loving-kindness... It is not up to anyone else but yourself. It is your life, change your role in it to best suit a healthier and happier you. One-step at time, a day in time, for a life worthwhile.
As Katy Perry sang, "Ignite your light, you don't have to feel like a waste of space. You're original, cannot be replaced…”
Be a titanium, as Sia be like; “Ricochet, you take your aim - Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down, but I won't fall, I am titanium”
India.Arie sings; " Cause I'm scared of the judgment that may follow, Always putting off my living for tomorrow, It's time to step out on faith, I've gotta show my face..."
Alicia Keys is the one who sang, "Yes, I was burned but I call it a lesson learned."
And, Msaki be singing you fetch your life, that “go on be in li, ain't Nobody living out here,Be someone who's living out here... “
Honestly, we are meant to grow, fly and shine. It is not a hoax. This is why so many out there are looking up and keep coming up. Yes, they are special, maybe more privileged, but they are not you. How about you just do you? What is there to lose besides just losing yourself? What is failure? What is a fall from grace? It is all just a temporary life thing that we can all get over and come out stronger. Yes girl, you can!
This one is for all women. Come on now, just do you. You are not beyond repair. Your despair is not you, but just what you are going through. No one is shining brighter than you are; your glow is just illuminated differently. Get yourself in that space of embracing yourself, literally, wrap yourself with your arms and feel the warmth. Dress down with the self-sabotage, dress up with the Self-Love. You are it! Be it! Be you!
Be at your best this spring. A vibrant you awaits!
You Matter! - I say so.
